Now that I have my Post Processing Layer, I want to make some cool changes to my game. This will be a quick and simple article to show some effects I added to my game.

I added the “Color Grading” effect to my game.

  • I changed Tonemapping to “ACES”, which is similar to what films use.
  • By sliding the “Temperature” and “Tint” controls, I was able to find a great color environment for my game.
  • I added the “Bloom” effect and tinkered with it a bit until I found what I was looking for. The “Intensity” option really makes the VFX stand out.

I’m certain I will be going back and adding many more Post Processing effects. Go ahead and play around with them and see what awesome changes you can give to your game.

Thank you for taking the time to read my article. Please follow me on Medium if you would like to stay updated on the process of this game project.
